I think that culture is important to every contury. In my opinion, Taiwan's culture is special. I'm interested in drama. I like to spectate drama in theater. Last year, I minor a course about theater. And the teacher ask us to see drama in theater. The experience is fresh and special. I like this feeling. And I know something about drama. Drama play is difficult. It must have long time to arrange. The comedy is diverse. It often combine life, political, family, camaraderie, love, war, and peace atc...The plot often move audience. I can earn more various think after the end of the show.
My aunt is live in America very long years, so their children are real ABC (American- born Chinese). The year before last, one of them, my younger cousin has come here to do his practical training and having some sightseeing. Supposed I have to be the guide to take him around the city. That’s a very good experience for me.
I find many problems and questions about my English during that time. That’s the first time I had chances to talk with a person can’t speak Chinese. In that experience, I find some weakness in my English skills. The biggest problem is about the tense. In some situations, when we talking about topics about mind and thought. I got problem. There is some obstacle to communicate thought with others through English.
However, one and half years college study makes me improve so much in English. But there are also some subjects or stories about this land are difficult to explain to foreign friends. Reading this website is very helpful for me to get some official knowledge about Taiwan. Maybe next time my cousins come here, I can tell them more things about this Formosa.
Now,people ofter reading the newspaper have the China Times,the United Daily News, the Liberty Times and the Apple Daily. Since the Apple Daily enter to Taiwan. The newspaper market stars appearing some variety.The newspaper market compete drasticaly. I don't like reding the Apple Daily.Because the Apple Daily put too many pictures in the layout.I can not read complete news content.So,I fell, the nespaper is able to the right news information for me.
